As an experienced wedding planner, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many couples in achieving their wedding visions. One commonality I’ve noticed amongst each client is that part of having strong communication between one another is understanding the visual aspects behind the design details. This is why I offer wedding renderings as a service.
Throughout the years, I’ve learned that while I can be describing a style or look for the ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, etc. clients may not have a clear understanding of what it all means. With wedding renderings, I am able to put together a mock presentation so they know what to expect.
This not only enhances the clients understanding, but really allows them to trust in me and my design skills.
Below I’m sharing a little rendering vs. reality with Brooke and Eric’s wedding design. If you want to see how this design came to be, keep on scrolling to learn more.
Wanting to keep things elegant, organic, and modern we planned a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony at The Olana. The aisle was lined with an abundance of blooms leading to a statement floral arch.
The couple’s daughter was actually the inspiration behind the escort display. When I explained that we should do a hanging mobile seating chart, there could’ve been many interpretations for how this would look. With the renderings I was able to show Brooke and Eric what this would look like as well as accurately communicate to all vendors involved so this design came to fruition.
The whimsical vibe of this celebration was carried into the reception space. The renderings showed exactly what style tables would be placed where, what linens and floral arrangements would be on each one, and how the lounge seating would be displayed.
This table top wedding rendering offers a more detailed look into the placement of each detail. You can get a feel for what guests can expect what they take a seat at their place setting.
As you can see from this rendering, we made some changes from the initial design to the final look on the wedding day. Making adjustments is much easier when you have a guideline like this.
While completing these wedding renderings is extra time, I am more than happy to offer this service to my couples. The Alexa Kay Events experience values great communication and this service allows us to extend on that in terms of visual appeal.
