Corporate events deserve more than a meeting space—they deserve an experience. When Visa × Ramp invited us to design Tasting on the Turf at Cowboys Golf Club, we wanted to create something that sparked creativity and connection.

Because the venue overlooked endless greens, the relaxed setting instantly encouraged conversation. It became the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of networking in style.

Details

Every design element was chosen with purpose. Scout Floral added energy through sculptural arrangements in warm citrus tones and fresh greens. The colors echoed the landscape, so the design felt natural yet bold.

To enhance texture, we mixed rentals from Render Events and Top Tier Event Rentals, tMetals, wood, and soft linens worked together to create balance. In addition, Hazelwood Paper Co. designed custom stationery that carried the Visa × Ramp branding in a subtle, tactile way. As a result, every surface told part of the story.

Atmosphere and Experience

From the first sip to the final song, the flow felt easy and intentional. Guests were greeted with refreshing cocktails and artful bites. Meanwhile, cozy lounge vignettes invited people to linger and connect.

The bar quickly became a focal point. Layered signage, fresh greenery, and sparkling glassware drew everyone in. At the same time, Western Rewind Band filled the air with upbeat tunes that kept the mood light and social.

Setting the Scene

Because we hosted outdoors at Cowboys Golf Club , nature framed every moment. The sunlight, soft breeze, and hum of conversation created effortless movement throughout the day.

To complement the scenery, we styled tables with linens from BBJ La Tavola. Their organic texture softened the design, while crisp white accents kept the look modern. Together, those choices created a setting that felt grounded, calm, and perfectly Dallas.

Design Approach

At Alexa Kay Events, we believe design should inspire as much as it connects. Our goal for Tasting on the Turf was to reflect Visa × Ramp’s values—innovation, community, and creativity—through intentional choices.

Therefore, we paired organic materials with sleek finishes. Textured florals met minimalist furniture. Hand-crafted signage balanced the clean lines of the space. In the end, every detail encouraged guests to pause and engage beyond business.

Closing

Corporate gatherings can be immersive and beautiful. Tasting on the Turf reminded us that connection happens best when design sets the tone. When color, sound, and texture align, the result is memorable.
