Your wedding details tell more of the story of your wedding day. Because of that, from flat lays to reception details, your photographer loves snapping these shots! To help make it go more smoothly and make sure no detail is missed, we’ve come up with a list of items you should have readily available for your photographer. That way they can ensure they’re getting every part of the day.
Wedding Details
Bride
Invitation
Always bring two copies of your invitation suite!
Any other paper materials
This includes save the dates, programs, menus, place cards, and table numbers.
Jewelry
Necklace, bracelet, earrings, etc. will more than likely all be captured in some flat lay before you put on any of your accessories.
Shoes
Formal shoes, glitter sneakers, whatever your style, or whether you have one pair or two, have them all ready to go.
Dress
Bring any dress hangers that you’d want your dress to hang on as well!
Veil
Perfume Bottle
Rings
Engagement rings and wedding bands
Flowers
You probably won’t have to worry about this because they’ll be getting delivered, but you can always ask your florist if there’s any left over flowers. Your photographer can then use these in their flat lays and detail shots.
Groom
Be sure your groom has all of these things ready for the photographer. (This also serves as a great checklist to make sure they don’t forget any part of their attire or accessories!)
Shoes
Suit
Tie or Bow Tie
Cuff Links and Tie Clip
Boutonniere
These photos are the ones that usually become the Pinterest worthy shots! Make sure you plan enough time for your photographer to get all the detail photographs that you want.
