As a destination event planner, it’s always a special treat to celebrate couples close to home. Their rooftop wedding welcome party at The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas was the perfect way to kick off an incredible weekend. A weekend that was full of love, laughter, and elegant details.

An Elevated Rooftop Experience

The Adolphus Hotel provided a stunning setting for this intimate gathering. To transform the rooftop pool area into an inviting space, we covered the pool with faux grass. This allowed us to create a beautifully designed seating arrangement.

Thoughtful and Stylish Decor

For the decor, we curated a mix of table styles to add dimension and charm to the space. Round high-top tables draped in a floral-printed tablecloth were paired with elegant Italian-style table lamps. I adore the old meets new ambiance of this look beneath the open sky. Complementing these were shorter tables in an olive green linen. The shorter tables were complete with stunning floral centerpieces, creating a cohesive yet dynamic look. The balance of textures, patterns, and soft lighting made for a truly inviting space where guests could mix, mingle, and celebrate.

The Perfect Start to a Wedding Weekend

This rooftop welcome party was the ideal way for Taylor and Javier’s guests to get dressed up, enjoy the city skyline, and relax before the big day. It set the perfect tone for the wedding festivities to come, allowing loved ones to connect in a stylish and intimate setting.
